The SDBB assumes no liability for problems arising from circumstances beyond its control. This is notably the case during interruptions caused by network disruptions.
The SDBB also disclaims any liability for the content of third-party websites referred to on the vpet.ch website. It bears no responsibility for the completeness, accuracy, updatedness and relevance of the information posted on third-party websites.
The content and structure of the vpet.ch website are protected by copyright. Any reproductions, complete or partial, dissemination by electronic or other means, changes, linking or use for commercial or public purposes (in particular, integration in a website) may only be permitted with the prior consent of the SDBB.
Without the express consent of the SDBB, any reproduction and/or dissemination of vpet.ch content constitutes an infringement of the Federal Copyright Act (CopA, SR 231.1), which may have consequences under civil or criminal law.
The only exception is content that is explicitly intended for reuse and indicated as such. Specific rules shall apply to public institutions.
Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and data protection legislation stipulate that all individuals are entitled to protection of their personal sphere as well as to protection against the misuse of their personal data. The SDBB strictly abides by these provisions.
Personal data are handled in a strictly confidential manner and are not sold or divulged to third parties.
We work closely with the company that hosts our website to ensure that all means are used to protect our database from outside intrusion, loss, misuse or falsification.
No personal data are logged when users access our website. The Internet server of the company that hosts our website only records non-personal usage data that enables us to identify usage trends and subsequently improve our offer. Usage data are not linked to personal data.
These rules do not, however, apply to voluntary contact that you make with us. If you enter your e-mail address, it will be saved in a separate database that does not have any link with anonymous log files. You may cancel your registration at any time.
